The Carrie Syndrome

Are you a Carrie?

Do you have more shoes than you can count?

Have you ever had the hardest time looking for your favorite little black dress and as you are rummaging through your closet you find another little number still with its tags? The little find was all of 50 percent off at the time, so who could resist. Well you didn’t; however, it soon fell into closet heaven because it was completely forgotten. That did not stop you from buying it, it was the great find, the item you could not live without and of course you will find the perfect occasion to wear it.

I think we have all been there: overdraft in our accounts, eating out when we should be paying a bill and just plain living above our means. If you listen to the array of economist whom prophesized on the doom and gloom of America’s state of affairs from Jim Cramer to Larry Kudlow you would know what we are up against. We as a society, I believe global society, will be driven kicking and screaming to the times of 1929 and/or 1932. Now, will it be as bad, maybe not, but with the overwhelming number of pink slips being passed currently, we don’t know the difference.
